When most people think of smudging, they think of white sage. Because of the popularity of white sage smudging, the plant is now being abused and overharvested. There is little regard to the local environmental impacts, as well as the impacts on local cultures.

There are many other options for smudging, like this Wild Lavender (Salvia mellifera), and I’m happy to offer them to you here.
