When most people think of smudging, they think of white sage. Because of the popularity of white sage smudging, the plant is now being abused and overharvested. There is little regard to the local environmental impacts, as well as the impacts on local cultures.

There are many other options for smudges, like this Blue Sage (Artemisia Powis Castle) and i am happy to offer them to you here.

This is ethically wildcrafted blue sage. Blue sage is a close relative of white sage. It has a fresh, light fragrance similar to lavender, and it’s aroma is not quite as strong as white sage.

It is often used in ceremonial practices for cleansing, to attract positive energies, or simply as aromatic incense.

My blue sage smudge sticks come from ethical wildcrafters and are harvested responsibly in an ecologically sound and respectful way. The plants were not harmed and nothing was wasted.
