Mulling spices for making your own mulled wine or spiced cider right at home ✨
Mulled wine isn’t just tasty- the gentle, warm simmer will open up the cell walls of the aromatics imparting not only flavor but their medicinal qualities as well.
When you hover over your steamy pot (cauldron) simmering your herbs like the kitchen wizard you know you are, infuse also your hopes and wishes into the murky liquid and then drink your wine as an act of deliberate celebration in the good things coming for you.
Your jar will come with a cotton bag for you to pour your spices into for easy filtering.
MULLED WINE instructions:
Slowly warm wine and spices til just before boiling- do not allow the wine to bubble! At this stage reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for at least 20 min... but you can go longer even up to 3 hours. Just keep it covered and the temps real low! Feel free to add fresh orange at this stage.
When finished infusing, remove the spice bag. Add brandy + sweetener of choice.

WHAT YOULL NEED FOR MYLLED WINE..
1-2 bottles of dry red wine
1 spice pack (good for 1-2 bottles of wine!)
4-8 TBSP of honey OR sugar OR maple syrup ORRRR
2-6 cups apple cider
1/4 cup - 1/2 cup brandy, cognac or liquor of your choice.
